Journey Grrrl Publishing publishes the holistic “So Smart” how-to book series. The books range in length from 200 to 248 pages and are contemporary in look and appeal. Titles will be published in softcover “trade” size. Excerpts from all the books in the series may also be repurposed for online use or published as “booklets” which will be similar to the traditional “paperback” size. Quality content is the constant goal. The books are entertaining and practical and thought-provoking. They will appeal to a broad readership. There is no other holistic how-to series like it on the market today.
Big life situations will be the prevailing commonality in selecting how-to themes, particularly those that are likely to resonate with women aged 29 to 59. These topics will include fertility, pregnancy, motherhood, weight loss, finances, dating, marriage, career, organizing, breaking habits (like smoking or nail biting), and other challenges common at this stage of life.
Here are our first titles:
If I’m So Smart, Why Can’t I Get Pregnant? (Elisabeth Manning)
If I’m So Smart, Why Can’t I Start a Business? (Susan Hyatt)
If I’m So Smart, Why Can’t I Get Rid of This Clutter? (Sallie Felton)
If I’m So Smart, Why Can’t I Save Money? (Koren Motekaitis)
If I’m So Smart, Why Can’t I Write a Best-selling Non-fiction Book? (Angela Lauria)
If I’m So Smart, Why Am I Still Single? (Terry DeMeo)
The So Smart Series was inspired by Brooke Castillo’s book, If I Am So Smart, Why Can’t I Lose Weight and her Coach-in-a-Box product. Neither Brooke nor her company are profiting from, endorsing, or contributing to this series. She does, however, have an amazing new Life Coach School which I highly recommend you check out.
